Make A Donation
Your support empowers men and women to transition successfully from prison. Your donation equips Texas Reach Out to provide housing, Christian support, and guidance for our residents.
Donate
Both one-time and recurring donations are necessary to keep Texas Reach Out open and able to provide aftercare services for our residents. Donations help us manage the ongoing costs of our operational and house maintenance expenses, cover unexpected costs that arise, and accomplish our goal to open more homes.
In-Kind
When participants are released from prison, we help satisfy their immediate needs of food, clothing, and shelter. In-kind donations of clothing, bedding, towels, mattresses, used vehicles, household items, etc. help our residents settle in to their new home! Contact us to inquire about making an in-kind donation.
Welcome Bundles
New residents receive a welcome bundle with a variety of goods to help them settle into their new home. If you or a group are interested in assembling welcome bundles, email us for more information! n. j. k. k
Clothing Closets
Texas Reach Out has two clothing closets, one for men and one for women. When new residents arrive, they can choose two full outfits from the closet to get their wardrobe started. If you have new or gently used clothes you would like to donate, contact us!
David and Margie Peña founded Texas Reach Out in 2000 with the purchase of the Joshua House.
We currently have the capacity to serve 60 individuals at one time – the vision is to expand the number of homes and grow our capacity to over 100.
